Branded Design Studio is proud to have started the Scenic Rim Rural Women's Celebration in 2023. This annual event brings together women from across the Scenic Rim to celebrate the International Day of Rural Women.
The UN's International Day of Rural Women Rural Women’s Day supports the "crucial role that women and girls play in ensuring the sustainability of rural households and communities, improving rural livelihoods and overall wellbeing."
The aim of the International Day of Rural Women is to recognise the critical role and contribution of rural women, and this event is no different. Held at Kerry Memorial Hall, this event aims to bring together and celebrate women of the Scenic Rim who are vital to our community.

More than 80 women joined us to celebrate the last International Day of Rural Women with an afternoon of food, drinks, raffles, prizes, music and stunning scenery.
All proceeds from the event were donated to the Zonta Club of Beaudesert, whose members work tirelessly in our local community to build a better world for women and girls – a world where every woman is able to reach her full potential and where no woman lives in fear of violence.Â
More than $13,000 has so far been raised through the event and donated to Zonta. This money has been used to fitout and furnish supplies for two 'soft rooms' in local police stations. These rooms provide a safe space for victims of domestic and other violence.
The event also collected generous donations of toiletries and other supplies for 'Share the Dignity' bags that are distributed through police stations, community groups and high-school guidance counsellors across the Scenic Rim.
